Essential Books
about us
This is a new publishing venture. It is likely also to be an adventure.
My first 79 years may be characterized as either a potpourri or a mess. I have been a tenured student. My interests have always been varied.
Likewise, my experiences have covered a broad spectrum. I have been a foreign correspondent, worked with two intelligence agencies, been an executive director of a nonprofit for those with mental illness, written for an academic journal, been homeless (back in the 1950s, before it became so popular), held elective public offices and garnered eight patents.

I began my scholastic journeys as a math major. I then went through physics, astronomy and then anthropology. I took both physical and cultural. Then came history, sociology, psychology and political science. In graduate school it was international relations and international economics.
I will write on several of these subjects. I wish to pass on what I have experienced and learned before I pass on.
Given my varied history, my perspectives are usually different. I hope you will find them stimulating and worth your interest.
